SteadyBell Services
Privacy Policy
Effective September 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SteadyBell Services (“SteadyBell,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information through steadybellservices.com and in connection with our receptionist and call-handling services.
1. Information we collect
Website and inquiry information
When you submit our website form or contact us, we may collect your business name, name, phone number, email address, industry, message, and other information you choose to provide.
Client onboarding and account information
For clients, we may collect business contact information, service areas, business hours, approved greetings, FAQs, escalation contacts, call-handling instructions, forwarding information, billing records, and other information needed to configure and provide the service.
Caller information processed for clients
When we answer a call on behalf of a client, we may collect information the client has instructed us to capture, such as the caller’s name, callback number, email address, service address or location, reason for calling, service need, urgency, and requested next step. We generally provide that information back to the business the caller intended to reach.
Payment and transaction information
Payments may be handled by third-party payment processors. We may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, amount, billing contact information, and related records. We do not intend to collect or store full payment-card numbers through our website or normal call-handling workflow.
Technical information
Our hosting and security providers may automatically process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request timestamps, pages requested, and diagnostic or security logs needed to operate and protect the website.
2. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; evaluate service fit; onboard and support clients; configure call routing; answer and document calls; create handoffs; follow client-approved escalation rules; provide customer support; process billing; maintain business records; prevent fraud or misuse; secure and troubleshoot our systems; enforce agreements; and comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We may share information with:
- The business a caller intended to reach. Caller details are shared with the SteadyBell client so that business can respond to the call.
- Operational service providers. We may use hosting, email, telephony, payment-processing, file-storage, security, and other vendors that process information as needed to provide their services to us.
- Legal and safety recipients. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, enforceable requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or defend legal claims.
- Business-transition recipients. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, reorganization, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use the website for third-party targeted advertising.
4. Cookies, analytics, and online tracking
The current SteadyBell website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral advertising tools. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may use essential technical mechanisms and logs to deliver, secure, and diagnose the website.
Do Not Track disclosure. Because we do not currently use cross-site behavioral tracking for advertising, the website does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals. We do not knowingly permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information through our site for their own cross-site advertising purposes. If our tracking practices change, we will update this Policy and any required choices or notices.
5. Data minimization and retention
We aim to collect only information reasonably needed for the website, business relationship, and client-approved call workflow. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, client support, billing, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, legal compliance, and other legitimate business purposes. Retention periods can vary by record type and client relationship.
Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details, Social Security numbers, detailed medical information, or other highly sensitive information unless SteadyBell has specifically confirmed a lawful and necessary workflow for that information.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No method of transmission, storage, or security is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and requests
You may contact us to ask about personal information associated with you, request a correction, request deletion where appropriate, or raise a privacy concern. Some information may need to be retained for legal, billing, security, dispute, or contractual reasons.
Requests can be sent to hello@steadybellservices.com. We may need to verify your identity or relationship to a client before fulfilling a request.
8. State privacy rights
Depending on where you live and whether an applicable law covers SteadyBell, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, or other treatment of personal information. We will honor applicable rights and legally required disclosures. You may contact us using the email above to make a request or ask how a law applies to your information.
9. Children
SteadyBell is a business-to-business service and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through the website.
10. Third-party websites and payment services
Our website or communications may link to third-party services, including payment providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information directly to those services.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle information already collected, we will provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate or legally required.
